Millions of students around the world prepare for high-stakes national exams — the Polish Matura, British GCSE, Indian JEE and NEET, Brazilian ENEM, Turkish YKS, and more — with limited access to quality study resources in their own language. Many rely on flashcard apps designed for English-speaking students, or expensive tutoring services they cannot afford.

Naukado combines 8 AI-powered study tools in one free mobile app, available on iOS and Android. Each tool is designed to address a different part of the study workflow — from creating study materials, to memorizing them, to checking your understanding, to getting help when you're stuck.

Naukado operates in 10 languages: English, Polish, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Hindi, Indonesian, Arabic, and Filipino (Tagalog). All AI tools — flashcard generation, quiz creation, AI notes, and the Study Buddy tutor — work in each of these languages, allowing students to study in their native language for maximum comprehension and retention.

The science behind Naukado

Naukado is built on well-established learning science principles:

• Spaced repetition (SM-2 algorithm) — Originally published by Dr. Piotr Wozniak in 1987 and refined over decades, SM-2 is the gold standard for long-term memorization. Naukado implements the full SM-2 algorithm, not a simplified version.
• Active recall — Testing yourself (as opposed to passively re-reading) produces significantly stronger memory traces. Naukado's quiz generator is built around this principle.
• Multi-modal learning — Learning through multiple channels (visual flashcards, audio podcasts, written notes, conversation with the AI tutor) reinforces the same material through different memory pathways, improving retention.
• Retrieval practice — The Study Buddy AI tutor engages you in active retrieval, asking questions and prompting explanations rather than just providing answers passively.

Why Naukado is free

We believe that the AI tools needed to study effectively should not cost $35/year. A student in Poland, Brazil, or Indonesia should have access to the same quality of study tools as a student at an elite private school. Naukado's core features are free, and we intend to keep them that way. A premium tier exists for students who need higher usage limits — but the free tier covers all daily studying needs.
